Admission

Admission

  • Applications for admission to the Nursery for the coming year are accepted in the first week of January. For other classes, if vacancies exist, information slips are obtainable and accepted from Feb. 15 onwards, at the School Office.
  • Those who complete 3½ or 4½ years by May 31st, of the relevant year, are eligible for admission to the Kindergarten/Preparatory Classes in April of that year. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the successive classes.
  • Pupils applying for admission (Classes1 to 8) are, as a rule, subjected to an entrance test. They will be tested in the class below the one to which they seek admission.
  • A new pupil who joins fresh from home or from a private school has to produce a Municipal Certificate, in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form.
  • A new pupil who has attended any recognized school cannot be admitted without a Leaving Certificate from the School last attended; and in the case of pupils coming from schools outside Rajasthan State, the certificate must be countersigned by the Educational Inspector of the State from which he comes.
  • The admission will, ipso facto, be invalidated, if the Leaving Certificate of the previous school or, if the candidate joins fresh from home, the Municipal Birth Certificate is not produced within 15 days from the date on which the pupil joins this school.
  • A new pupil who has attended an unrecognised school should produce an affidavit by the parent or guardian, before a magistrate. The affidavit should clearly state:
    • the reasons why the pupil did not join any recognized school
    • the name of the unrecognized school
    • the class attended and the subjects studied by him
    • the examinations passed, if any. Also, the leaving certificate of the unrecognized school as well as the official birth certificate, are to be produced.
  • The Entrance Fee, together with the other stipulated fees and activities fee, must be paid in advance.
  • Parents and guardians are informed that admissions will be strictly on the merit of the candidates. Any effort to seek admission through dubious means such as offering a donation, will debar a student from getting admission.

Withdrawal

  • Notice of withdrawal should be given before the fifteenth of the month, else the fee for the following month will be charged. Such notice should be given in writing by the person responsible for the pupil and not by the pupil.
  • A Leaving Certificate will not be issued until all dues are paid. An application form for the same is obtainable from the School Office and should be submitted 5 days in advance.
