Discipline Rules

1. The Hours of class attendance are 7.50 a.m to 2.00 p.m.

2. At the first warning bell, pupils must immediately fall in for the Assembly according to classes. After the Assembly they must walk in silence to their class rooms. When the last period is over, the pupils will recite the Prayer After class with the teacher.

3. In the absence of the teacher, the first monitor assumes responsibility for order and discipline of the class. The second monitor should report the matter to the office, If no teacher arrives within five minutes, the leaders are responsible for discipline in the school and outside the classrooms.

4. The Captains of the school are elected by the pupils and approved of by the school authorities. All the pupils are expected to co-operate with the captains, Monitors and Leaders to maintain the discipline, good name and ideals of the School.

5. Personal cleanliness is expected from all pupils. The uniform must be clean and neatly pressed, shoes well-polished, finger-nails pared and hair trimmed and neatly arranged . The Principal may send a pupil home for lack of personal cleanliness, long hair or dirty shoes.

6. When the pupils are moving along corridors to another classrooms, the rules is form a straight line and keep to the side opposite the class rooms .The teacher in the class shall be the last to leave after switching off the lights and fans

7. Any communications made by you, should be addressed to the Principal and not the class teacher.

8. Parents and guardians must inform the school immediately in case there is a change in their/address/telephone number.

9. On class days and school functions the children are expected to wear the uniform prescribed for the season.

10. The Children are strictly forbidden to purchase any articles of food from the unauthorized dealers near the school premises.

11. When the students have to move along the corridors while the classes are in progress, they should do so in silence.

12. During the intermission the students are not allowed to enter the class rooms.

13. Students are expected to take part in the co-curricular activities when they are expected to do so.

14. The students are expected to speak English within the school premises.

15. A student coming late to school will not be admitted to class unless he/she brings a written excuse from home on the late attendance record of the diary.

16. Any kind of damage within the school premises must be made good by the one who does it.

17. The school is not responsible for goods or money lost in the school and discourages wearing of ornaments or Jewellery of any kind in the school.

18. Use of Mobile phones, MP3/MP4 Players, camera or any electronic items is prohibited in the school. In case students are found with these items they can be suspended or rusticated from the school.

19. Bursting crackers or splashing colours in school premises is strictly forbidden.

20. The school will not responsible if children are found missing after the school hours. Parents are requested to instruct their children not to go to the home of friends and relatives without their permission.

21. Change of residence/Phone no. should be notified to the school.

22. The students who miss the exams or test will not be tested at any other time.

23. Those students who fail for the second times in the same class will not be allowed to continue studies in the school.

24. If a student is not getting minimum of 75% attendance, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the Annual Examination.

25. Parents are expected to sign on the progress report and remarks in the diary. Students will not be admitted to classes, if such reports are not duly signed by them.

26. If a student is continuously absent for a maximum period of seven days without any prior information, His /Her name will be struck off from the Attendance Register.

27. Irregular attendance, disobedience to authority, habitual idleness, copying in the examination are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
